Meta brings out a new quiet mode for Instagram users from Jan 19, 2023. Currently Instagram is most popular among social media users. This new feature is really very productive for active users.
"Do Not Disturb " is specifically designed for the app and features an auto reply to people who will D.M. us. It also turns off notifications.
The quiet mode is accessible to only limited country users. Users from the U.S., United Kingdom, Ireland, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, hoping to bring it to more countries. All business account users can use this feature.
Steps to enable quiet mode on Instagram for one time use are as follows:
Go to the Instagram profile and click the top three bars at the top right. This will bring you to a set of options.
Then click on "Settings."
Choose Settings. option
Click on "Notifications." Choose Notification, just below click on "Follow and Invite Friends".
This will bring up options for how long you would like to pause the notifications. 15 mins, 1 hr, 2 hr, 4 hrs, or 8 hrs.
