On Wednesday, Netflix unveiled its 2023 film schedule with release dates along with a dramatic trailer.
You People, the feature directorial debut of Black-ish creator Kenya Barris, will be released on January 27. It stars Eddie Murphy, Nia Long, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, David Duchovny, Lauren London, and Jonah Hill, who also co-wrote the script.
Comedy-wise, Aline Brosh McKenna, co-writer of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and The Devil Wears Prada, pairs Reese Witherspoon and Ashton Kutcher in a comedy about a house swap. Your Place Or Mine, available from Feb. 10. The whodunnit comedy Murder Mystery featuring Adam Sandler and Jennifer Aniston is returning with a follow-up.
The much awaited Luther film, starring Idris Elba in his legendary detective role, will be released in March. Chris Hemsworth's Extraction sequel is also coming soon, as well as Jennifer Lopez's action drama The Mother from Mulan director Niki Caro and Gal Gadot's spy thriller Hearts of Stone.
There are thrillers like Leave The World Behind, a new thriller from Mr Robot creator Sam Esmail, which stars Julia Roberts, Mahershala Ali, Ethan Hawke, and Kevin Bacon, as well as David Fincher's adaptation of Alexis Nolent's graphic novel, The Killer, starring Michael Fassbender and Tilda Swinton.
