Eating out is always a treat. And there's absolutely nothing like tucking to great food as well as red wine while looking at a lovely sight.

Here in Ireland, we have the best of whatever from cityscapes to mountains to beachside views. There are plenty of charming restaurants where you can appreciate gazing out the sight.

8. The Galley

The Galley started as a fish and chip shop in the tiny fishing town of Annalong, near the Mourne Hills, back in the '90s; the restaurant is more recent. The family-friendly offering concentrates on lasting fish and seafood, most locally captured, with the chips reduced fresh each morning. Additionally worth looking into in Annalong is The Harbour Bar, another preferred area for top-class fish and seafood.

7. Helen's Bar

The name over the door may be Teddy O'Sullivan's, yet everybody knows this little bar by the water at Tuosist near Lauragh on the Beara Peninsula as Helen's Bar. I've been consuming the crab sandwiches and mussels below, given that I was a youngster and a journey to Kerry isn't complete without a go-to. It's an excellent lunch stop if you're on the roadway from Castletownbere to Kenmare.

6. Eithne's by the Sea

If you're on the hunt for laid-back fish and fish and shellfish dining in Mullaghmore, then Eithna's is the area to head for. Developed in the very early 2000s, on the coasts of Donegal Bay, Eithna's offers Lissadell oysters and also farmed lobsters from the Mullaghmore lobster fish pond, along with plenty of alternatives for non-fish-eaters. All the fish served is sustainably sourced.

5. East Pier

If regional oysters from Woodstown Bay washed down with a glass or more of prosecco is a combination that appeals, head for new food vehicle East Pier in Dunmore East, right by the water. Likewise on the food selection are fish and chips and 99s, so treat is also sorted. On a sunny summer night, the craic is mighty. The Hair is a different establishment offering delicate fish and shellfish in Dunmore East.

4. The Fish Basket

Excellent fish and chips on the Hair between Rosscarbery and Clonakilty either consume inside the black shack on the beach or bring a carpet and remain on the sand. The sharing box of hake, lemon sole, squid, scampi, and hand-cut chips include mushy peas and homemade tartare sauce. Be still my beating heart.

3. Fisk, Harbour Bar

Neighbourhood active ingredients and well-priced red wines have made Tony and Lina's Fisk, located beside the Harbour Bar, overnight success in Downings. Visitors can take pleasure in views out over the coastline and Rosapenna while consuming squid with lemon aioli, McBride's crab claws with dulse butter, Mulroy Bay mussels, and fish tacos - just some of the selections on offer, together with seafood pâtés on Scarpello sourdough. No bookings. Close by, the Rosapenna Hotel & Golf Hotel serves black sole that's the most effective in the nation, according to celebrity cook Gary O'Hanlon, that suggests requesting a table by the home window.

2. Stoop Your Head

Located right on the harbour in the North Dublin angling village of Skerries, Stoops - as the locals call it - does not take bookings, but you can have a drink in the club next door while you wait on a table. Favourite meals consist of Rockabill crab open sandwiches and Dublin Bay prawns in garlic butter; Stoops' chowder is so preferred that it's currently available to eliminate.

1. Fishbone

Style master Sonya Lennon is a massive fan of Fishbone in Clontarf, pointing out the Oriental shellfish and kimchi tacos with little gem and Cajun smudged cod and chips as well just two of the recipes that bring her back over and over again. There are views out over Dublin Bay from the tables outside and in the restaurant's front.
